ABOUT Paula Gradim

I'm Paula Gradim, a Chinese Medicine specialist with over 12 years of clinical experience and the founder of Clínica Naturalmed, an integrative healthcare center I lead with a multidisciplinary team of excellent specialists.

My professional career began in conventional healthcare, with a degree in Radiology from the Coimbra School of Health Technology. I worked as a Radiology Technician in the public and private sectors for 15 years (2005–2020), providing me with a solid scientific foundation and a deep understanding of diagnostic systems and the clinical realities of hospitals.

In 2013, after 5 years of training in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Portugal, I graduated in Chengdu, China, where I had the opportunity to learn more and deepen my knowledge of acupuncture, herbal medicine, and Eastern diagnostics, integrating ancient knowledge with modern clinical criteria.

Since 2020, I have dedicated myself exclusively to Chinese Medicine, with a special focus on:

• Chronic pain

• Insomnia and sleep disorders

• Metabolic diseases

• Adipolysis

• Complementary support in cardiology and oncology

At Clínica Naturalmed, I am responsible not only for clinical practice but also for team coordination, development of internal protocols, and ongoing training for the professionals who collaborate with me.

Concurrently, I develop training projects, workshops, and international interventions, with the goal of bringing excellent Chinese Medicine to other contexts—always based on ethics, science, and a deep understanding of each individual.

Outside of my professional life, I deeply value work-life balance. My family is my center, I am passionate about travel and sports, and I engage in causes that reflect my values, such as local and humanitarian associations.

I believe in medicine that respects individuality, that listens before intervening, and that combines tradition and innovation to better serve human health.
